Wow! The weather has certainly been interesting this spring!
Beautiful and Powerful! As the seasons change from the cold Winter months to break into the turbulent Spring months, it seems that the storms have gotten larger, longer, stronger and do more damage. Just last month we had a tornado that was one of more than a hundred that occurred over a 5-state region - with just one storm. Today, the storm is coming from the Gulf of Mexico and will be affecting the northeastern states before it's through with the USA. This one, however, will stay together and still be strong enough to affect Europe!
Storms are certainly beautiful. These, however, make me think about the prophecies of Mother Nature’s fury due to the lifestyle we have that neglects the care of the Great Mother of us all. The thing to focus on is that because of this fury: (storms of increasing strength, water concerns, and oil shortages) we are having to re-think about the way we live.
Maybe our houses need to be nestled in the ground to withstand these strengthening storms. Maybe we need to cry out for and support alternative fuels, since this seems to be the major cause of global warming, which is making these storms stronger and stronger. Maybe we should be more thankful for what we are given, and respectful of the Great Mother’s needs, so she’ll be more giving to us of our needs.
Behold! ...and take cover!Yes, it’s time for a change. It’s time to Liberate ourselves from our neglectful past, and DO unto the Great Mother as we would have Her do unto us. What goes around always comes back around, sooner or later.
